My time in Military Law Society - whether it was working with my fellow future Judge Advocates to continue to make GW Law the top school for pursuing a career in military law or the time we went all over DC to find Rugrats cupcakes for one of our members.
With Gratitude
I'd like to start by thanking my parents, grandparents, and twin sister for their support. Their words of encouragement brought me through some of the most difficult parts of law school. I also appreciate the support of many members of the faculty - in particular Dean Lisa Schenck for her guidance in pursuing an Army JAG career and for taking the time to mentor me since before 1L. I'd also like to thank the many judge advocates and paralegals in the U.S. Army who worked with or attended GW with me - I appreciated the opportunity to learn from each of you.
Finally, I'd like to thank my best friend Shirley - who was always there for me whether it was to laugh or to cry. I feel truly lucky to have a friend like you.
