With Gratitude
I would first like to thank all of my professors who challenged me to think about the world differently. Most importantly, I would like to recognize Professors Jessica Steinberg, Patrice Sulton, Anne Olesen, Maya Dimant, Natasha Blinkova, and Bryan Nese who have gone out of their way to provide me with countless opportunities to learn and grow. I would also like to thank my undergraduate professor, Dr. Brandy Faulkner, who was fundamental to my pursuit of a career in indigent defense. I could not imagine my journey without all of her support. I would also like to thank all of my mentors who supported me, mooted me, or judged a mock trial scrimmage. Without you, I would not have the confidence to argue in front of a real court. Lastly, I would like to thank my friends and family who were so supportive and listened to my never-ending thoughts.
