Kappa Beta Pi Part-Time Award

The Kappa Beta Pi awards are presented to the women in the full-time and part-time divisions who attained the highest cumulative averages in the first year of legal study.  Each student receives a monetary award, a Dean’s Certificate of Achievement, and a computer tablet holding a legal dictionary. Megan Bowers is the student with the highest GPA in the first year of law school in the evening division. 

Megan earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from University of Connecticut, majoring in Biomedical Engineering.  She then went on to earn her PhD from Brown University, also focusing on Biomedical Engineering. Megan was a member of The George Washington Law Review
