Patricia A. Tobin Government Procurement Law Award
The Patricia A. Tobin Award is given to a member of the graduating Juris Doctor or Master of Laws class who demonstrates excellence in the area of government procurement law. The 2020 winner, Javier Farfan, will receive a plaque, a monetary award and the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement. Javier earned high grades in multiple procurement-related courses, including, Formation of Government Contracts, Performance of Government Contracts, Government Contracts Advocacy, Government Contracts Cost & Pricing, Comparative Public Procurement, and Government Contracts Seminar on Foreign Government Contracts.
Javier earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University. He also earned his JD from the Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University.
