Favorite Memory from GW Law

My favorite memory from GW Law was in 1L LRW. Our professor asked, “who’s ready to be back for spring semester?” And without hesitation (man, I wish I had some hesitation) I shot my hand up in a peace sign and yelled “ Woop Woop!” Not my finest moment, but it wasn’t as bad as the time I did dancing finger guns to that same Professor when I had a bit of a mishap with an elevator door in his very fancy law firm. What can I say? We have fun here.

With Gratitude

There are so many people to thank. My friends, my family, my professors, my cat. Two special shout-outs are warranted however, as my legal journey would not be where it is without them. First, to my spectacular husband, Daniel, you deserve an honorary J.D. Between cooking all the meals so I wouldn’t starve while studying, walking with me to every interview, reading every paper, helping with every tedious journal assignment, and being my biggest cheerleader. I truly would not have been as successful without you. Thank you, my love! Second, to my mentor, Marc Levine, a fellow GW Law alum who saw potential in that weird 1L who was obsessed with T&E before even taking the class. Thank you for taking a chance on me and for teaching me so much about our amazing field, I cannot wait to join your firm this September!
