Graduation Award for Excellence in Pre-Trial and Trial Advocacy
The Graduation Award recognizes excellence in oral advocacy and is presented to the Juris Doctor student who performs strongly in Pre-Trial and Trial Advocacy courses and who demonstrates a mastery of advocacy skills. Daniel Gordon, one of the two winners in 2020, will be awarded an engraved gavel and a Dean’s Certificate of Achievement.
Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of Michigan. While at GW Law, Daniel was the notes editor for The George Washington International Law Review. Daniel will be clerking for The Honorable John M. Campbell, in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
