Although we are not able to hold Commencement Weekend in person this year, we would like to celebrate and recognize our graduates' successes digitally. Please read below to learn about the various Commencement activities to be held by GW Law this May.

Virtual Student Yearbook
In addition to the traditional commencement addresses, we are also creating a virtual student yearbook for you to share with your friends and family. We hope you will take a moment to complete the information requested for inclusion. Please submit your information by Monday, May 4.

Student Gift
This year we are providing a special gift to every member of the Class of 2020. You will all receive a diploma frame bearing the GW Law crest. These will arrive in the mail following commencement.
Future In-Person Ceremonies and Events
In addition to the University Bicentennial Commencement Ceremony on the National Mall in May 2021, the law school will host an event in your honor as soon as we can. We will provide more information on both these events when circumstances permit. In the meantime, please accept our congratulations and gratitude.
Regalia
Some students have inquired whether graduation regalia can be made available to those who wish to memorialize their graduation from GW Law. The dean's office has made arrangements for regalia to be provided to students upon request at no cost.
Students interested in receiving regalia from our regalia provider, Herff Jones, should complete this form by April 7 for a May 1 delivery of regalia. You must fill out this special form even if you already ordered regalia online.
Please note that you must have an off-campus address to receive regalia. A prepaid shipping label will be provided to enable you to ship the regalia back to Herff Jones. Please ship the regalia back to Herff Jones no later than May 20.
