Favorite Memory from GW Law

My favorite memory has to be the Cohen and Cohen Mock Trial Competition! Between the months of preparation and long days on competition weekend, I made incredible friends and walked away with membership on the Mock Trial Board. I even got to cross examine my husband on the stand which is any wife's dream!

Favorite Quote

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

Proverbs 31:8-9

With Gratitude

It took a committed army of family, friends, and mentors to get me to graduation. There are no words to properly express my gratitude for the prayers, love, patience, laughter, and guidance that brought me here. To the many professors who have mentored and supported me, thank you! Specifically, thank you Professor Cheh, Professor Gardner, and Professor Fairfax for so generously teaching and inspiring me to be the best advocate I could be.

For my incredible husband, you are my greatest joy and the best partner I could ask for. I wouldn't be here without you. I love you. For M.D., it was your loving words to a young, shy girl that planted the seeds of courage that now define my life. Thank you for being my most persistent source of encouragement to reach every new peak. I love you! To mama, you have taught me the most important lesson of all--that none of this is more important than the love and laughter I give to those around me. Thank you for being my soft place to land, I love you! To my friends and family--I'm the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you for keeping me sane--it was no easy task! We did it!
