My favorite memory from my time at GW Law is going to Lawlloween with my friends. It was fun dressing up and seeing everyone in costumes.

"None of us got where we are solely by pulling ourselves up by our bootstraps. We got here because somebody – a parent, a teacher, an Ivy League crony or a few nuns – bent down and helped us pick up our boots."
Justice Thurgood Marshall
I would like to thank my mother, Aimee Bella, for her endless support and the many sacrifices she made for my education. I also want to thank the rest of my family, including my father, sister, and grandmother for their emotional support as well. I am grateful to my friends for keeping me motivated, focused, happy and sane throughout law school. And lastly, thank you to my professors, especially Professor Suter and Weisburd, for imparting in me a desire to not only keep learning about the law, but to think about ways of improving it and to try to always advocate for others in some way.
