"The plan is to fan this spark into a flame."
There was a very real time in my first year that I thought I would be unable to finish law school, and it was only with the immense support of my family and friends that I was able to cross this finish line--all I can say is thank you.
I am also incredibly grateful to all the amazing faculty I have had the opportunity to learn from while at GW. Professor Murphy, thank you for the incomparable opportunity to work as your research assistant--I think I learned more in Geneva and through the other assignments than I ever could have in a classroom. To Professor Steinhardt, thank you for organizing the incredible GW-Oxford Human Rights program and always reminding us aspiring human rights advocates to "savor the grapes!" Dean Celorio, thank you for your unfailing positivity, support, and advocacy on behalf of the entire ICL program. Trent, thanks for being the glue of Jessup at GW--and thanks for keeping us sustained with the best Trader Joe's has to offer during those marathon sessions in LLC009! And finally, to Ms. Bobby, thank you for always being a bright ray of sunshine in supporting us students, even on our most stressful days!
I wish, as we all do, that we could have celebrated this milestone together, but a huge congratulations to the Class of 2020! I can't wait to see what we will accomplish!
