About the Comedians
Liz Glazer
Liz Glazer is a standup comedian, actor, writer, and former tenured law professor. Liz attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she obtained her BA and MA in philosophy, magna cum laude, and then attended the University of Chicago Law School where she obtained her JD and was a member of the Law Review...all before quitting to pursue standup comedy, so these degrees are now props. As an academic, Liz's papers were published in the Northwestern University Law Review, the Georgetown Law Journal, and the Harvard Journal of Law & Gender, among other journals. As a comedian, Liz has opened for comedians Myq Kaplan and Maria Bamford, and recently won first place in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the feature of an article about her trajectory from tenured law professor to standup comedian published in the Wall Street Journal. Send Liz an email from her website, www.dearlizglazer.com. She'll never delete it (a joke you'll get soon!).
Andrea Coleman
Andrea is a Virginia-born comedian living in Brooklyn. She has produced 5 short films and performed at Caroline's, Gotham, and Comedy Cellar in New York City. Her work has aired on BET’s Lens on Talent and been selected for the Emerging Narrative Section of Independent Feature Project's (IFP) Film Week. Andrea is classically trained and has performed at the Orlando Shakespeare Festival and the Shakespeare Theatre Company. When she is not knee-deep in comedy she is a Senior Trial Attorney, reminding you that unless you’re laughing at one of her jokes, you have the right to remain silent.
